PURC – Public Transport

Rail to Purley Station – frequent trains run from East Croydon and there are direct trains from Victoria and London Bridge.

Come out of the station main exit and walk down to the bottom of the forecourt.  Turn left and slightly downhill to a set of traffic lights.   Turn sharp right there into the High Street: walk along the road and cross at the pedestrian crossing nearly opposite Boots the Chemists.   Shortly after this turn left and walk through Downland Precinct (some shops on both sides) into Brighton   Road.   Turn right as you come out of the precinct and then cross the road at the pedestrian (pelican) traffic lights.  Turn to your right at the other side of the lights, walk past the Rectory pub, and you will see the church immediately in front of you.

Buses from Croydon are 60, 166, 466, 407 along the Brighton Road , 405 and 455 along Pampisford Road. There are also buses from Wallington (127), along the Purley Way (289) and from Selsdon (412).
