In the Lounge – come and join us………….

As part of a series of sessions focussing on the place of music in the life of people of faith, we have the great privilege on 12 May to be joined by Ian le Grice, until recently assistant organist at the Temple Church in London, but, more importantly for us, a professional musician who began to play the organ as a small boy at Purley URC under the expert tuition of our then organist Richard Aldridge. His father also sang in the church choir for some years. Ian will be sharing his thoughts with us on the theme of ‘Church music – old and new’, and will be illustrating them with recorded music and on the piano. Do please come and take this unusual opportunity to benefit from the knowledge of a real expert!
