All are every welcome to attend these informal and ‘friendly user’ sessions.
There is a mixture of:
Bible Study – In September and October we will continue our course on Parables and Possessions, produced by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland and based on a Church of Scotland report, ‘A right relationship with money’. In November we will begin a new course which will be announced later.
Discussion – We will be continuing our discussions on themes arising from Richard Holloway’s talks to the May 2013 ‘Free to Believe’ Reading Party on his book ‘Leaving Alexandria’. In November we will begin a new series, ‘Reconnecting with God’ which explores how we can make God real in a society where increasing numbers of people find it hard to believe in God.
DVD – We will continue to view the BBC series The History of Christianity.
We aim to make all these sessions ‘stand-alone’ enabling you to take a full part in later sessions even if you are unable to come to the earlier ones.
Please see below the programme for our Sunday evening gatherings.
