The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is 18th to 25th January 2015

Dates for Your New Year Diary

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is 18th to 25th January 2015.

The Ecumenical service will take place at St James’s at 4.00 pm on the 25th at which the Bishop of Croydon will be speaking.

Purley Baptist Church is hosting two prayer days on 21st and 22nd January. Your support is needed to produce, along with the other churches, a board showing our current concerns.

Volunteers are also needed to host the hospitality area.

There will be lists in the Foyer which you can fill up against the times you can assist. Please also let me know so that I can inform the co-ordinator.

On Saturday 24th, a breakfast is being provided at Purley Baptist Church between 8.15-9.00 am, followed by prayers led by the clergy between 9.00-10.15 am.

If you cannot attend the breakfast (numbers limited to 4/5 per church) just come at 9.00 am to join the prayer time.

There will be activities every day in different churches as the programme develops, so watch Folkweave for details. It is a great opportunity to meet local fellow Christians and visit their Churches.

Many thanks for offering to help and attend.
