Easter Week – Sunday 29 March to Sunday 5 April 2026 – Purley United Reformed Church

With Christmas only a few months behind us with the Birth of Jesus and and the start of his journey which leads to the Cross and His Resurrection our focus turns to Easter Week – Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

All are welcome to join us as we continue our own journey, following in the foot steps and witnesses to the life and resurrection of Jesus and beyond.

APRIL 2026 – Easter highlights – Maudy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday

2 Apr – Maundy Thursday – Communion Service – 19.30 pm at South Croydon United Church, Aberdean Road, South Croydon – the last supper where Jesus washed the feet of His Disciples and the first act of Holy Communion was carried out.

3 Apr – Good Friday – Morning Service – 10.30 am – in the Lounge at purley United Reformed Church – Jesus’ crucifixion – leading to Easter Sunday

4 Apr – Easter Saturday

5 Apr – Sunday Morning Worship – 10.30 am – Easter Day Communion Sunday – a celebration of the Reseraction – lead by Rev’ds Maurice Omorojie and Russell Furley-Smith
