Our church offers a range of flexible, well‑equipped rooms suitable for community groups, classes, meetings, and events. We welcome local organisations and individuals to make use of our spaces, and we aim to provide a friendly, supportive environment for all who hire our facilities. Please note that we are unable to accommodate parties or wedding celebrations.

Church Hall
The Church Hall is our largest and most flexible space, suitable for a wide range of community activities. Its generous floor area and adaptable layout make it ideal for fitness classes, rehearsals, children’s groups, community meetings, and larger gatherings. The Hall benefits from good lighting, accessible entry points, and easy access to the kitchen and other rooms. Whether you are running a regular group or hosting a one‑off event, the Hall provides a practical, versatile setting that can be arranged to suit your needs.
Ideal for: large groups (60 to 80 people, fitness classes (Zomba), community events, children playtime, one-off meetings, in-door sports activities like badminton and concerts.

The Church Lounge is a warm, comfortable space designed for smaller groups and quieter activities. With soft seating, natural light, and a relaxed atmosphere, it is ideal for meetings, discussion groups, pastoral conversations, craft sessions, and reflective gatherings. The Lounge offers a welcoming environment that supports calm, focused interaction, making it a popular choice for community groups and regular weekly activities. Its proximity to other facilities also makes it convenient for multi‑room bookings.

Upper Room
The Upper Room is a bright, peaceful space located away from the busier areas of the building. It is well suited to counselling, tutoring, small meetings, prayer groups, and one‑to‑one conversations. The room’s quiet atmosphere supports focused work and confidential discussions, while its comfortable layout makes it a welcoming environment for longer sessions. This space is often chosen by organisations and individuals who need privacy and calm.

Main Kitchen
Our fully equipped catering‑grade kitchen is available to groups with confirmed bookings. It includes modern appliances, preparation surfaces, and essential facilities suitable for serving refreshments or supporting event catering. The kitchen is conveniently located for use alongside the Hall and Lounge, making it a valuable addition for groups running longer sessions or activities that require food and drink. Use of the kitchen must be arranged in advance as part of your booking.

Car Parking
Parking is available in the church forecourt for a limited number of vehicles. Additional parking can be found in nearby streets and local public car parks within a short walking distance. Please allow extra time during busy periods, especially around school drop‑off and pick‑up times.
We kindly ask all visitors to park considerately and avoid blocking neighbouring driveways or access routes.

We are located next to the War Memorial Church and The Pear Tree Public House opposite Sainsburys on the Brighton Road. There are excellent transport links by rail and buses.

Public Transport
We are located directly opposite Purley Station, with frequent train services to and from central London, Croydon, and surrounding areas. Several bus routes also stop nearby, making the church easy to reach by public transport. The building is also conveniently situated on the A23 for those travelling by car.
Hiring Hours
Rooms are available for hire throughout the week, subject to availability and existing church activities. Please contact our Hiring Secretary to discuss suitable times for your booking and to check current availability.
Kitchen Use
Use of the main kitchen must be arranged in advance and is available only to groups with confirmed bookings. If you require catering facilities or refreshments, please mention this during your enquiry so we can advise on suitable arrangements.
Safeguarding
Groups working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults must follow appropriate safeguarding procedures and provide evidence of relevant policies upon request. This helps us ensure a safe environment for all who use our premises.
Insurance and Responsibility
Hirers are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision and insurance for their activities. The church cannot accept liability for personal belongings brought onto the premises. Please ensure that all members of your group are aware of this when attending.
Respect and Consideration
We ask all hirers to treat our premises, neighbours, and caretakers with respect and kindness. Our caretaking team works hard to prepare and maintain the building for everyone who uses it, and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping shared areas tidy and leaving rooms as you found them. Thoughtfulness and courtesy help us ensure a positive experience for all groups who use our facilities.
