Safe Guarding 1

Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk

As one of its major activities Purley United Reformed Church (Purley URC) seeks to serve the needs of children, young people and adults  promoting holistic development.

In doing so, Purley URC takes seriously the welfare of all children, young people and adults who come onto its premises or who are involved in its activities.

Purley URC aims to ensure that they are welcomed into a safe, caring, Christian environment with a happy and friendly atmosphere.

Purley URC has written guidelines relating to safe guarding/child and adult protection and all adults are required to have an enhanced criminal record disclosure when working with children, young people and adults. Our policy statement for safeguarding children and adults at risk document can be viewed in full by following the link below.
