The Purley Youth Centre
and
The Purley Youth Project
The Purley Youth Centre was built at the rear of our premises as part of our Centenary celebrations in 1994/1995
The Purley Youth Project manages the Centre which is a Charitable Trust
The aim of the Centre is to provide an environment where the following objectives of the Purley Youth Project can flourish:
- To assist young people in meeting the pressures, challenges, and temptations of a modern and fragmented society and forming their own moral standards and defences.
- To assist young people in channelling their energies and enthusiasm in healthy pursuits.
- To create a trusting relationship with young people so that they can recognise their worth and the contribution they can make to the life and welfare of the community in Purley and the wider society.
The Centre is used by a range of groups and organisations from a number of sectors including sports, education, employment, and the youth.
